Beverly's Approach To Therapy
I genuinely love the work I get to do. Walking alongside people who are hurting as they move toward healing and wholeness is an honor to me. As a marriage and family therapist, I get to witness lives being transformed— watching people reconnect with themselves, their relationships, and a sense of hope they often thought was lost.
My journey as a therapist began in my own personal therapy. I experienced firsthand the power of having someone safe—someone who met me with gentleness and compassion—walked beside me, as I came to a deeper experience of healing.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a space where your story is honored without being rushed, analyzed, or minimized. As a trauma-informed therapist, I understand that many of the struggles you are facing today are rooted in experiences your nervous system learned to survive. Our work together focuses on creating safety, increasing awareness, and gently helping your system release what it no longer needs to carry. You don’t have to relive everything to heal— and you’re always in control of the pace. Therapy becomes a place where understanding replaces shame, and where healing unfolds in a way that feels steady, respectful, and real.

EMDR Therapy
EMDR is a structured, trauma-informed therapy that helps your brain and body process painful experiences safely. You remain in control at all times, and we move at a pace that honors your nervous system. The goal is not to relive trauma—but to release it.

Couples Therapy

I help you understand the patterns you’re caught in, the deeper emotions underneath the arguments, and how past experiences may be shaping your present reactions. Premarital Counseling
Premarital counseling is about building your marriage intentionally — before patterns get entrenched.” You’re not here because something is wrong. You’re here because you want to start well. Every person brings a story into marriage — family experiences, past relationships, attachment styles, stress responses. Most of those patterns operate automatically, especially when conflict or disappointment shows up. Premarital counseling gives you a space to understand those patterns before they begin shaping your relationship without your awareness.
